How We Got Here

We started our tech company because we noticed these two things:

The software process at many companies is inefficient and cumbersome.

A lot of time is wasted on manual tasks that can be automated.

Hi, I am Chris!

I have over 16 years of experience in the tech industry and worked in all development phases. As Power Up Software Engineering’s CEO and CTO, I have combined my passion for software efficiency with my technical expertise.

Career Highlights

  • One of my proudest achievements was building an entire software division from scratch. This division has doubled in size and continues to grow, a testament to my leadership and management skills.

  • My primary specialty is helping small to Fortune 500 companies transition from old systems to more modern ones. I have completed 8 legacy migrations so far.

  • I’ve designed 12 software applications.

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Colorado State University (CSU)

  • Master’s in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Denver University (DU)

  • Twitter Employee’s Hackathon Winner (March 2022)

  • Graduate of Lockheed’s Engineering Leadership Development Program

  • Fun fact: I love to hike 14ers and have completed 20 so far.

Hi, I am Melissa!

When Chris decided to start our company, he knew he could not do it alone. As co-founder and COO, my primary responsibility is to run the business so Chris can focus on being a software guru.

Info About Melissa

  • My first career is in mental health.

  • I am currently learning UX/UI to help build our software product.

  • Fun fact: I am an avid hiker and have summited over 100 CO trails.

How It All Works

Our straightforward process is designed to meet our clients’ needs.

  • To get to know you better, we ask that you schedule a free 30-minute consultation that can be virtual or in-person. This meeting will briefly cover your needs and how we can help you achieve your vision.

  • After we figure out if we are a good fit, we will schedule more in-depth assessment sessions to talk about your project or consulting requirements.

  • After our strategy meeting, we will send you a proposal with an estimated timeline and pricing.

  • Schedule in-person or virtual meetings as often as needed until the contract is completed.

  • Legacy Migration and AI Strategy Consulting

    We aim to work so you no longer need us, but we will always be happy to provide follow-up consulting at an hourly rate.
