How We Got Here

We started our tech company because we noticed these two things:

The software process at many companies is inefficient and cumbersome and only catered to the needs of large companies.

So many small business are performing easily automated tasks manually and performing critical business functions only using Microsoft Excel.

Hi, I am Chris!

I have 17 years of experience in the tech industry and have worked in all development phases. As Power Up Software Engineering’s CEO and CTO, I have combined my passion for software efficiency with my technical expertise.

Career Highlights

  • One of my proudest achievements was building an entire software division from scratch. This division has doubled in size and continues to grow, a testament to my leadership and management skills.

  • My primary specialty is in automation and task management having designed an built 15 unique application and turning that knowledge into a development kit that can produce software 100x faster.

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Colorado State University (CSU)

  • Master’s in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Denver University (DU)

  • Twitter Employee’s Hackathon Winner (March 2022)

  • Graduate of Lockheed’s Engineering Leadership Development Program

  • Fun fact: I love to hike 14ers and have completed 20 so far.

Hi, I am Melissa!

When Chris decided to start our company, he knew he could not do it alone. As co-founder and COO, my primary responsibility is to run the business so Chris can focus on being a software guru.

Info About Melissa

  • My first career is in mental health and I currently run my own private practice.

  • Fun fact: I am an avid hiker and have summited over 100 CO trails.

How It All Works

Our straightforward process is designed to meet our clients’ needs.

  • To get to know you better, we ask that you schedule a free 30-minute consultation that can be virtual or in-person. This meeting will briefly cover your needs and how we can help you achieve your vision.

  • After we figure out if we are a good fit, we will schedule more in-depth assessment sessions to talk about your project or consulting requirements.

  • After our strategy meeting, we will send you a proposal with an estimated timeline and pricing.

  • Schedule in-person or virtual meetings as often as needed until the contract is completed.

  • Legacy Migration and AI Strategy Consulting

    We aim to work so you no longer need us, but we will always be happy to provide follow-up consulting at an hourly rate.
